ROXANA SAIDI

FOUNDER and CEO at TÁCHE

May 2021

You know what nuts? Milk! And you know what’s even more nuts? Certain super-popular nut milks (ahem..almond I’m lookin’ at you) require 97 gallons of water to produce ONE OUNCE of almonds in drought-stricken Cali. Pistachios require 75% less water produce the same amount. Sounds like a nut showdown, amirite? Well TBH, Pistachio Milk is delicious— a little bit nutty and a little bit sweet. And with a shelf live of 12 months and recyclable packaging, well touché, Táche is tops. Táche founder Roxana Saidi knows pistachio milk— she’s been drinking it since she was a kid. Roxana is also an admitted serial entrepreneur, having founded social media and marketing agency RxSocial in 2011 with top notch clients that include Fairmont Hotels and Harry's— and now Táche too. So, lets take a moment and meet Roxana, shall we?

When did you start?

I started making pistachio milk in 2015 DIY-style and launched Táche online in November 2020 & it’s now in 200 coffee shops across the country!!

Why do you do what you do?

As a first generation Iranian, pistachios have always been in my home & in my heart as my favorite nut. It was only natural to combine my love of my culture, food & design with Táche.

Wise Words:

“Sprezzatura” is what I center my life around, as it’s a lovely Italian phrase meaning to make what is labored look effortless.
