Meet Zac Young—Pastry Chef, TV Personality and PieCaken Guy. You probably already know the witty and wise Zac from his many TV appearances—often famously in costume for Food Network's ‘Halloween Baking Championship’—but did you know that Zac is the mastermind behind the famous PieCaken? Yep, the famous all-in-one sweet treat came from Chef Young’s mix-master mind on Thanksgiving of 2015. Inspired by the TurDucken, Zac layered Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Spice Cake all covered with Cinnamon Buttercream and Oat Crumble and topped with a crown of Apple Pie Filling. It went viral, a nation said ‘YUM’, and the rest is history. Now, with seasonal versions—and variations (the PieCupen, anyone?) for practically every holiday and occasion that are ready to be shipped nationwide to your doorstep, Zac’s delicious empire shows no signs of stopping, and we and our sweet tooths are forever grateful. Let’s meet Zac, shall we?
