Deviled Egg with Labneh Vanilla Whipped Yolks and Smoky Panko

Let’s face it, when it comes to party bites everyone loves a twist on a classic and my Deviled Eggs with Labneh Whipped Yolks and Smoky Panko are just that—a crowd pleaser packed with bold flavor—a hit of Simply Organic Madagascar Vanilla Bean Paste in the yolks for a complex rich finish, and Simply Organic Smoked Paprika and Cayenne in the panko for a crunch umami-filled bacon-y finish. They’re so easy to make and perfect for entertaining during the Holidays or anytime, for that matter.


Makes 12 Deviled Eggs

INGREDIENTS

6 large hard boiled eggs
½ cup labneh
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
¼ tsp kosher salt
⅛ tsp white pepper
1 tsp Simply Organic Madagascar Vanilla Bean Paste
¼ tsp Simply Organic Smoked Paprika
⅛ tsp Simply Organic Cayenne
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tbsp olive oil

METHOD

Cut eggs in half, carefully remove yolks and transfer to a bowl. Add labneh, Dijon, white pepper, Simply Organic Madagascar Vanilla Bean Paste and salt and pepper. Use a fork to combine until smooth.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil, Simply Organics Smoked Paprika, Simply Organic Cayenne, and panko. Mix to combine and toast until panko is golden brown—approximately 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and let cool.

To assemble, spoon yolk mixture back into egg white, using two spoons if necessary. Sprinkle very liberally with panko mixture. Transfer to a serving platter and serve.
